Product Sense Lab ("we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

When you use Product Sense Lab, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and name (via Google OAuth or email sign-in)
• Practice data — your responses to problems, scores, session metadata, and preferences you set during onboarding
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns (via Mixpanel analytics)
• Email preferences — whether you have unsubscribed from reminder emails

2. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Calibrate problems and feedback to your role, experience level, and focus areas
• Track your progress and display your session history
• Send daily practice reminder emails (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Improve the product through aggregated, anonymised usage analytics

3. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — authentication and database (your account and practice data is stored here). Supabase Privacy Policy
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI model used to generate problems and evaluate your responses. Your practice responses are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic Privacy Policy

4. Data retention

We retain your account and practice data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing hello@productsenselab.com.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage to cache your session state and onboarding preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Supabase sets a session cookie for authentication.

6. Email communications

If you sign up, you may receive daily practice reminders and occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Opt out of email communications at any time
• Withdraw consent to analytics tracking

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit and Supabase's row-level security for data isolation. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Product Sense Lab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
